WELCOME TO THORPE ST ANDREW FC
WOMENS / GIRLS U10s – ADULTS

Thorpe St Andrew FC, recently established in Summer 2020, is a grass roots football club based in Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich and takes great pride in its reputation as a friendly community-based football club and values the relationship that it has with its volunteers, players, sponsors and supporters. It is derived from three clubs – St Andrews FC, originally founded in 1954, Hillside Rovers FC, originally founded in 1983 and Thorpe United Ladies and Girls FC, originally founded in 2008.

A warm welcome from the Club Chairperson

On behalf of all the volunteers, coaches and managers of Thorpe St Andrew Ladies and Girls Football Club, I would like to thank you for joining our club and offer you a very warm welcome.

Since the club was established in 2008 it has grown from strength to strength, starting with only one team we now have six teams, ranging from Under 10s through to Ladies. All members of our committee, managers and coaches are all volunteers; they invest their time and effort into the club and all girls and ladies who join us to help introduce them to football in a well organised, safe and fun way.

All coaching is provided by qualified coaches who are trained to a minimum of FA’s Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football and have been screened for their suitability (C.R.C.) for working with children. Our coaches are encouraged to increase their qualifications so as to improve all aspects of football coaching.

We have joint facilities with Thorpe St Andrew FC Mens/Youth for both training and match days, so why not come down and support/join us? As a spectator, parent or carer of a child at Thorpe St Andrew Womens and Girls Thorpe St Andrew FC we need your active support to help us, whether this is by bringing them to training on time and with the correct kit, or supporting them in matches, your involvement is very important to us. It only takes a little bit of commitment to make a big difference to your children and without this help we could not continue to function.

We are always grateful for coaches and parent assistants. Training can be provided if you wish, or we are there to support you for giving us and your child a helping hand. Don’t just watch your child develop through the next 10 years, get involved and enjoy the time with us and them. We remind all spectators that we adhere to the Charter Standard Schemes and to FA Best Practices and FA Respect Programmes. We sometimes forget that they are children playing a game and we have a responsibility to let them enjoy the experience.

I am looking forward to the upcoming season and watching the club further develop.
